Acrylcolor is a ready to use paint. They can be applied to paper, cardboard, wood, salt dough, Bristol board, plastic, plaster... Can be applied using paint brushes, stamps and foam rollers from Pébéo children’s range. Varnishing is unnecessary in the preservation of the paint. It must be stirred well before use to well homogenize the paint.
The primary colours are perfectly balanced, for improved learning of mixing techniques.
Acrylcolor paint can be easily cleaned off skin before drying, using soap and water.
In the case of stains on textiles, immediately wash the surface in hot water with soap. Repeat the operation if necessary until the stain has completely disappeared. However, the pigments present in the acrylic may have varying affinities according to the surfaces (textile fibres, etc.). These colourants can then bind to the fabric almost permanently. For tougher stains, using bleach-based or active oxygen-based textile stain removers can be successful as long as their use is compatible with the garment in question.
It is also recommended to use protective aprons for works with children. Keep away from wallpaper, painted walls, untreated wood, etc., and other materials that cannot be washed.
Auxiliary: Acrylic binder
The auxiliary acrylic binder has several uses:- it lets you dilute the colour without resulting in a loss of brightness- it is also used as an undercoat on porous surfaces (wood, terracotta, etc.) to prevent the loss of brightness and, it can also be used as varnish on Acrylcolor paints.
