Place a plastic sheet (plastic wallet, for example) on the work surface. Wash and dry your hands to avoid sullying the paste. Open the bag and make a ball with the imprint paste. Place the paste on the plastic film, and cover it with a second sheet of clear plastic. Spread the dough using the wooden rolling pin, until you get a flat square the right size (14x14 cm) and about 1 cm thick.
2) Proceed to make the print
Wash and dry the baby's hand or foot. Place the baby's hand or foot on the imprint paste. Open your baby's fingers slightly to get a nice print. Lightly press baby's fingers and palm to make a steady imprint. Carefully remove the child's hand or foot. If you are not perfectly happy with the hand-print, you can do it again by repeating steps 1 and 2.
Use a ruler or knife to cleanly cut the edges of the imprint and remove any excess paste. You can use a piece of paper as a template to cut the imprint into the exact shape you want.
The paste will begin to dry after 30 minutes, and is fully dry in 2 to 3 days. After 5 hours turn the imprint over and let it dry in the sun.
When completely dry, stick the imprint on the box using double-sided tape or glue.
For the Baby girl memories and Baby boy memories kits: you can paint the whole of the case or create designs with the paint provided. Leave the paint to dry for at least 30 minutes (24 hours for fully drying).
To complete your customisation of the case, stick a picture of baby inside the box under the imprint. The Memories case is ready to be filled with all baby's memories, including the birth bracelet, first dummy and first tooth. Write down the baby's greeting messages, the dates of baby's first tooth or first steps, and write baby's first words on the memory cards in the case. These sweet notes will complete your collection of cherished baby memories.
