Porcelaine 150 can be applied to all heat-stable surfaces that are able to withstand a temperature of 300°F (150°C), such as porcelain, china, glazed earthenware, terracotta, metal, enamelled sheet steel, copper and glass. The surface chosen, allows for numerous interesting effects to be produced and experiments to be made with the transparency and intensity of the colours. Porcelaine 150 makes professional enamelling available to all, with a new generation of 46 colours, glazed by simply baking at 300°F ( 150°C) in a kitchen oven. Whether using Porcelaine 150, in a bottle, a tube or marker, all colours can all be mixed together to create a deep and glossy, transparent or opaque finish, with a superb enamelled appearance, once baked. The Porcelaine 150outliners, in tube with nozzle, can be used for outlining work, as well as and screen printing.
The markers are recommended for drawing lines and writing. Shake well before use. Press tip repeatedly to start ink flow. Allow to air dry 72 hours for decorative use, piece may be lightly hand washed without soaking. For dishwasher resistance, allow to air dry 24 hour after application then bake in oven for 35 minutes at 300°F (150°C). Store horizontally. Do not allow to freeze.
Colours can be fluidized with the Porcelaine 150 thinner. To produce a matte finish, add a few drops of Matte medium to the colour before application.The Gloss medium can be used to lighten colours without thinning them.
The colours are applied directly on a clean surface, that has been degreased with alcohol or soapy water. After observing the required drying time (minimum 24 hours), place the decorated object in a cold oven. When the temperature of the oven has reached 300°F (150°C), bake for 35 minutes. Colours then have a real enamelled look and are resistant to dishwashing.
