Properties

Setacolor light fabrics glitter

QUALITY:

Water based glitter colours dedicated to the decoration of light fabrics. Refined, bright and brilliant. Light textured, the Setacolor Light Fabric Glitter colours do not affect the flexibility and fineness of the fabrcs. The colours can be mixed together. Excellent lightfastness. The range includes 9 colours.

DRYING :

Air dry in 1 hour

SURFACES:

The majority of fine or thick, natural or synthetic, prewashed light fabrics.

THINNER :

Ready to use colours

OPACITY :

Transparent colours

FINISH :

Glitter with a base colour

SETTING :

Two possibilities:
1) With an iron on cotton position, no steam, for 5 minutes, on the reverse side of the fabric
2) In the oven, for 5 minutes at 150°C (300°F) (stabilized temperature).
CARING (decorated fabric): after fixing, the colours resist machine washing at 40°C (100°F) and hand washing.

Applications

Stir before use.
Setacolor Light Fabric Glitter colours can be used on all prewashed fabrics: cotton, wool, mesh, jersey, velvet, jacquard knit, polyester, mixed fibres, and even leather. Ready to use, sparkling and intense, they can be used pure or diluted with water to obtain watercolour effects. Their rich texture is suitable for various decorating techniques: with a paint brush, dropper, stamp, silkscreen painting, stencils....
Pébéo tips: for screen printing techniques, the Setacolor Light Fabric glitters will remain in the area of the screen printing plate. The result will be colourful but not glittery.
To fix the Setacolor colours, iron on the reverse side of the decorated fabric for 5 minutes on cotton position with no steam. it is also possible to put the fabric in a kitchen oven. After 5 minutes at 150°C (300°F) the colours are fixed. Once fixed, the colours resist machine washing.
