Application

The Fragonard extra fine oil range has 104 colours and are perfectly balanced between opaque, semi opaque and transparent. The extreme purity of the pigments used ensures complete miscibility of colours. The Fragonard colours were created and reformulated to bring a new freshness of colour combined with excellent lightfastness.  All the pastes are ground repeatedly on tri-rollers to guarantee their extra fine quality. The oils used have the best qualities of resistance to yellowing due to both thermal and photo oxidation.  Bees wax plays a beneficial role in the composition of colours by reducing the appearance of yellowing from heat, while providing a touch of brilliance, softness and smoothness to the colour.
