Properties

EASY TO WORK WITH TRANSPARENT RESIN. THE TWO-COMPONENT EPOXY SYSTEM (RESIN AND HARDENER) PRODUCES SURFACES WITH SELF-ROUNDED EDGES AND A GLASS-LIKE FINISH.
> Low-odor, medium viscosity.
> Easy-to-use, two-component epoxy resin system (resin and hardener).
> Very transparent.
> Perfectly imitates the look of glass while offering the sturdiness of resin.
> High-gloss finish with no shrinking when dry.
> Creates, through surface tension, self rounded edges without spilling over when applied to flat, level surfaces.
> Compatible with all other products included in the Mixed Media by Pébéo program.

Applications

USE PÉBÉO GÉDÉO GLAZING RESINS FOR COATING, MAGNIFYING GLASS EFFECTS OR ADDING DIMENSION.
> Mix two parts resin to one part of hardener.
> Allows adding dimensional or magnifying glass effects when applied to portions of painted pieces.
> Can be applied with a dropper to create pattern effects or to fill outlines previously drawn using a Pébéo Cerne Relief.
> Create dimensional color effects on any creation by adding a touch of Fantasy Prisme or Moon in fresh Gédéo Glazing Resin applications.
> Using Fantasy, Vitrail and Ceramic, or Gedeo Mirror Effect Metal Leaf over dry Gédéo Glazing Resin applications yields surprising original results.
> Can be used to secure and fasten small objects on flat surfaces by embedding them in a coat of freshly applied resin.

Helpful hints
> To apply the Glazing Resin in patterns or on delineated portions of a piece, it is recommended to mix the components and allow the resin to rest until it reaches a thicker consistency in order to gain control over the product and stop it from self leveling.
> Add drops of Vitrail, Ceramic, and Fantasy Moon or Prisme colors in freshly applied Glazing Resin to create special effects.
> To cover a surface and obtain self-rounded edges controlled by the product, it is necessary to work on a carefully leveled and elevated surface and to follow the recommended mixing quantities.
> To determine the quantity of product to use to cover a surface:
1. Measure the height and the width
2. Multiply the 2 values
3. Multiply the obtained result by 0.2
4. The result determines the quantity of resin to use

Surfaces
Can be applied over most raw or painted surfaces (once completely dry) : Pébéo Liquid Art Panels, glass, canvas, metal, mirror, Plexiglas, plastic, ceramic, as well as on jewelry bases and decorative objects.
