Extracted from linseed, this excellent binder provides pastes that are very pleasant to work with, hardens them faster and thoroughly and gives a resistant finish of depth and great beauty. Clear, low acid, despite its tendency to yellow in the dark, refined oil offers the best of linseed oil. It allows for diluting the colour and increases its brightness. Thinner: mineral spirits or turpentine. Diluted in this way, it can be used as a painting medium, however this carries the risk of delaying the drying of the colour and making it "sticky" if used in too large a quantity.

► Odorless mineral spirits *

Properties:

Origin : Resulting from the distillation of petroleum.
Matte appearance less accentuated than petroleum essential oil

Applications:

This essence, which offers solution settings close to turpentine, has the advantage of having a very low odor.

► Petroleum essential oil *

Properties:

Origin: From the distillation of petroleum.
    Makes colors matte

Applications:

An excellent thinner, petroleum essential oil evaporates much more slowly than turpentine and allows for prolonged work on pastes.

OILS

► Refined linseed oil

Properties:

Origin: Extracted from the seeds of the flax plant.
Clear, slightly acidic oil that tends to yellow in the dark.
Cleaning : Mineral spirits or turpentine

This excellent binder produces pastes that are very pleasant to work with, that harden quickly in depth, and form resistant and beautiful films. It helps to thin the color and increase its brilliance.

► Clarified poppy seed oil

Properties:

Origin: Extracted from black poppy seeds.
Brighter than linseed oil, less drying, it hardly yellows
Cleaning : Mineral spirits or turpentine

MEDIUMS

► Colorless painting medium *

Properties:

Composed of acrylic resin and poppy oil.
Non-yellowing, it dries without evaporation of the solvent

► Colorless XL Painting Medium

Properties:

    Alkyd resin based
    Good resistance to yellowing

► Structural Gel *

Properties:

Based on alkyd resin, drying oil and hydrated alumina silicate
    Translucent
Cleaning : Mineral spirits or turpentine

Applications:

This translucent gel lengthens color and gives an economical, slightly satiny paste. When used in large quantities, it allows for a lively and clean paste that responds to all demands. It can be added up to 50% to obtain a more economical paste of the same consistency.

► Impasto Medium *

Properties:

Composed of polyurethane resin, hydrated alumina silicate and beeswax
    Thick and opaque paste
    Fast drying
Cleaning : Mineral spirits or turpentine
