Customize your Christmas ornaments for your tree.

Discover how to add an artistic touch to your Christmas tree by creating unique baubles using the pouring technique. Our DIY tutorial takes you step-by-step through the use of pouring for dazzling festive decorations. Express your creativity over the festive period and give your tree a magical, personalised feel!
You will need:
- Pebeo acrylic paints in
different Christmas colours: Pouring experience bottles in gold, red
and green
- Clear plastic baubles
- Pouring medium (for the
pouring technique)
- Plastic cups
- Wood mixing sticks
- Plastic sheets or newspapers
to protect the work surface
- Collection tray for excess
paint

10 and up with the help of an adult.
Step 1: Preparation of the paint
- Arrange all materials in your
workspace.
- Place the plastic baubles on cups
to elevate them and make pouring paint easier.
- Choose the paint colours you
want to use.
- In separate cups, pour each
colour of paint and add the pouring medium to each cup.
- Using the wood sticks,
carefully mix each colour with the casting medium until you obtain a fluid
consistency.
Step 2: Pouring paint
- Pour the different colours of
mixed paint onto the plastic balls at random. Allow the paint to flow and
mix naturally.
- Gently tilt the plastic
baubles in different directions to spread the paint and create unique
patterns.
- Let the balls dry completely.
You can place them on the collection tray to remove excess paint.
- Once the baubles are dry, add
extra detail with fine brushes and other paint colours if you like.
Step 3: Hanging on the tree
- Once everything is dry, add
string or hooks to the baubles to hang them on your Christmas tree.
And that's it! Now you've got some
magnificent, unique Christmas tree baubles created using the pouring technique!
