Christmas tree decorations with lace

Discover how to make exceptional Christmas tree decorations with modelling clay. You will need:
- Modelling paste
- Gédéo gilding wax
- Flat brush
- Lace fabric
- Cardboard sheet
- Scissors
- Ribbon or string for hanging

Step 1: Prepare the Cardboard
- Cut out stars of different
sizes from the cardboard sheets.
- Use the hole punch to make a
hole near the top of each star.
- Cut pieces of lace fabric
slightly larger than your stars.
- Gently glue the lace to one
side of each star.
Step 2: Apply the Modelling Paste
- Shape the modelling paste into small decorative shapes such as flowers or arabesques.
- Glue these shapes onto the stars next to the lace.
- Allow the modelling paste to dry according to the product instructions.
Step 3: Paint the Stars
- Use a gilding wax to add colour to your stars.
- Accentuate the detail and relief created by the lace and modelling paste.
- Thread a fishing line through
the hole in each star.
- Tie the ends of the wires
together to create hanging loops.
- Once the stars are dry, hang
them on your Christmas tree.
- Arrange them to create a stunning
visual effect.
