Step 1: Prepare your Workspace​​​​​​​

  • Cover the work surface with newspaper or a protective cloth to prevent any damage.
  • Make sure the glasses are clean and dry. This will ensure better adhesion of the gold leaf.

  Step 2: Applying gold leaf
  • Use the fine brush to apply the clear glue to the areas of the glass you want to decorate. You can opt for simple patterns or create more elaborate designs.
  • Gently place gold leaf on the areas where the glue has been applied. Press gently to ensure even adhesion.

Step 3: Remove any excess

 

  • Leave to dry completely. This may take a few hours, so be patient.
  • Once dry, use a clean, dry brush to gently remove excess gold leaf.

Step 4: Enjoy your Christmas tealight candleholders

 

  • Place LED tealights in the glasses. Make sure they are well positioned and secure.
  • Light the LED candles and admire the festive glow of your personalised candleholders. They add a warm ambiance to your Christmas decor
