Creating Line Art on Wood

"Draw inspiration from the line art trend and
create minimalist paintings with Decocreme paints and an Acrylic Marker!"
Materials :
- Deco Matt Mango Yellow no. 081 , Grey no. 054 , Navy Blue no. 079 , Matt White no. 041
- Square 3D Art Panel frame 40x40 cm (ref: 777953)
- 1 x 1.2 mm Acrylic Marker Black (ref: 201436)
- 1 Flat Golden Polyamide Iris Brush no. 8 (ref: 7451-08)
- 1 Flat Golden Polyamide Iris Brush no. 12 (ref: 7451-12)
- 1 Flat Golden Polyamide Iris Brush no. 12 (ref: 7451-12)
- Sheet of tracing paper, Rule, Roll of masking tape
- Pencil, Template
Difficulty Level
- Drying time : 6 hours
- Time of realization : 2 hours
- Difficulty : Easy
- Place the Art Panel frame with the wood side up. Using your template, draw a square in the centre of the frame.
- Place tape around the border of the square. Apply 2 strips to properly protect the rest of the frame.
- Using the roller, paint the inside of the square white. Apply several coats to ensure it is properly opaque.
- Remove the tape directly and leave to dry for 3 hours.
- Once the paint is completely dry, place some tape around the border of the white square and on the inside edge of the frame.
- Using the Iris brush no. 12, apply the blue over the entire remaining surface of the base. Apply 2 coats. Remove the tape and leave to dry for 2 hours.
- Copy the template onto the tracing paper. Then transfer the circles onto your white background first.
- Using the Iris brush no. 8, apply the grey carefully inside the circle. Then apply the Yellow. Leave to dry for 1 hour.
- Then transfer the two faces . Go over the lines with your Black Acrylic Marker.
