Huile d’art super fine oil

Unctuous and supple, Huile d'Art is suitable for all techniques and faithfully reproduces the imprint of the artist. Intense, permanent, very finely ground, and remarkably resistant to thermal and photo-oxidation colours. Whites stable to yellowing.The organic and minerals pigments are carefully selected and blended according to their characteristics (lightfastness, covering and colouring power, brightness, etc.). Very finely ground, they confer power and remarkable intensity. The selection of siccative oils, the binder, is one of the major factors ensuring long term durability: avoiding irreversible changes such as darkening of the work generally, variation in brightness or the appearance of micro cracks. Thanks to studies conducted jointly by Pébéo and the National Photoprotection Evaluation Centre, high performance oil blends have been developed, guaranteeing optimum preservation. The colours can be applied alone or mixed, in thin or thick coats on canvas, canvas boards, wood, etc.
